Trauma Therapy for People Who’ve Tried Everything Else and Still Feel Stuck in Anxiety and Relationship Pain.
If you’ve done years of talk therapy, tried every coping skill, and still feel overwhelmed, you’re not broken, you just haven’t gotten to the root.
I help adults trapped in anxiety and relationship struggles finally release the emotional pain caused by unresolved trauma that’s still stored in the body.
Through somatic therapy, attachment-based work, and mindfulness, we’ll uncover the real cause of your suffering and heal it so you can move forward — and no, you don’t have to be in therapy forever.
About Me
Hi, I’m Amy. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience helping adults heal anxiety, emotional pain, and relationship patterns by addressing the root cause.
My years working in addiction treatment exposed me to the deep impact trauma has on the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. That experience shaped my trauma-informed lens and led me to complete a certification in somatic therapy, allowing me to integrate body-based healing into my work.
In addition to my clinical training, I have a strong background in yoga and meditation. These practices supported my own personal healing and continue to influence the way I help clients regulate their nervous systems and reconnect with themselves. I know healing is possible because I’ve done the work myself, and I bring that grounded perspective into the therapy space.
I use a holistic approach that blends somatic therapy, attachment based work, and mindfulness to help clients not just understand their patterns but actually transform them. Many of my clients come to me after years of talk therapy, still feeling stuck. I support them in moving through emotional resistance and healing the trauma that continues to live in the body.
I offer telehealth therapy to adults across California. I hold space for people who are ready to stop running from their pain, face their emotions with compassion, and finally move forward feeling calm, connected, and whole.

What Our Work Will Look Like
Unhealed trauma doesn’t just fade away.
It gets stored in the body and shows up as anxiety, emotional reactivity, people-pleasing, low self-worth, or patterns in relationships that leave you feeling stuck and hurt.
You might feel like you’re “too much” or “not enough.” You may struggle to trust, set boundaries, or feel truly safe and grounded in your body.
If you’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t go deep enough, you’re not alone.
Insight, mindfulness, journaling, even coping skills — they help, but sometimes they aren’t enough to create real, lasting change. That’s because trauma lives in the body, not just the mind.
Our work will be different.
I combine somatic therapy, attachment-based work, and mindfulness to help you gently uncover and release the root of what’s been keeping you stuck.
Together, we’ll work with your nervous system, not against it, so you can start to feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to yourself and others.
This is the kind of work that actually heals, not just helps you get by.

Holistic Body-Based Work
Is somatic therapy like EMDR?
Not exactly. EMDR can be powerful, but some people find it too intense. Somatic therapy emphasizes safety, regulation, and connection, working with your nervous system, helping you process trauma without becoming overwhelmed.
I’m not sure I’m ready to face all of this
That makes perfect sense — facing old pain can feel overwhelming. We’ll move at a pace your nervous system can handle, gently working through resistance so healing feels more possible, not more stressful.
How do I know if this is the right fit for me?
If you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship stress, or feel stuck in patterns that don’t change — this work could be what you’ve been needing. We can start with a consultation call so you can ask questions and see if this approach feels aligned.
What if I get overwhelmed and shut down?
Somatic therapy is designed to meet you exactly where you are. We’ll stay connected to what feels manageable, so even when big emotions arise, you’ll have support and tools to stay grounded.
What is somatic therapy, and how is it different?
Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy helps you access and release trauma stored in the body — not just talk about it. We’ll also explore insight and attachment patterns, helping you understand how your past shows up in your present.
How often do we meet, and for how long?
We’ll typically begin with weekly sessions to build momentum. As you progress, we can move to bi-weekly or monthly sessions to support ongoing integration at your pace.
